Drepung Monastery
Drepung Monastery is one of the largest and most significant Tibetan Buddhist monasteries, located near Lhasa, Tibet. Founded in 1416 by Jamyang Choeje, a disciple of Tsongkhapa, it was an important center for the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism.
