Dorothy L. Sayers
Dorothy L. Sayers was an English writer, best known for her detective fiction featuring the character Lord Peter Wimsey. Born on June 13, 1893, she was also a playwright, essayist, and translator. Sayers was a prominent member of the Inklings, a literary group that included notable figures like C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien.
