Dorothea of Brandenburg
Dorothea of Brandenburg (1430–1495) was a German noblewoman and the daughter of Elector Frederick I of Brandenburg. She became the Duchess of Saxony through her marriage to Duke Ernest of Saxony in 1445. Dorothea played a significant role in the political landscape of her time, supporting her husband's rule and managing the ducal court.
