Dornier Do X
The Dornier Do X was a large flying boat designed by the German company Dornier Flugzeugwerke in the 1920s. It was notable for its impressive size, featuring eight engines and a wingspan of over 40 meters. The aircraft was primarily used for transatlantic flights and was one of the largest flying boats of its time.
First flown in 1929, the Do X aimed to showcase advancements in aviation technology. It could carry up to 66 passengers and was equipped with luxurious amenities. Despite its innovative design, only a few were built, and it ultimately did not achieve commercial success.
