Districts of Lesotho
Lesotho is divided into 10 administrative districts, each serving as a local government area. These districts are: Berea, Butha-Buthe, Leribe, Mokhotlong, Qacha's Nek, Quthing, Thaba-Tseka, Maseru, Mohale's Hoek, and Maseru. Each district has its own unique geography and cultural heritage, contributing to the diversity of the country.
The capital city, Maseru, is located in the Maseru district and serves as the political and economic center of Lesotho. The districts vary in size and population, with some being more urbanized while others are predominantly rural. This administrative structure helps in the governance and development of the nation.
