Dimasa language
Dimasa language is a Tibeto-Burman language spoken primarily by the Dimasa people in the northeastern region of India, particularly in the Dima Hasao district of Assam. It is one of the official languages of the state and is recognized for its rich cultural heritage and oral traditions.
The language has its own script, known as the Dimasa script, which is derived from the Brahmi script. Efforts are being made to promote and preserve the Dimasa language through education and cultural initiatives, ensuring that future generations can maintain their linguistic identity.
