Dianetics
Dianetics is a set of ideas and practices developed by L. Ron Hubbard in the early 1950s. It aims to address the mind and its influence on the body, proposing that negative experiences, or "engrams," can cause emotional and physical issues. The goal of Dianetics is to clear these engrams through a process called "auditing," which involves guided conversations between a practitioner and a participant.
The core concept of Dianetics is that the mind has two parts: the analytical mind, which is rational and conscious, and the reactive mind, which stores painful memories. By accessing and resolving these memories, practitioners believe individuals can achieve improved mental health and well-being.
