Dhyan Chand
Dhyan Chand was an Indian field hockey player, widely regarded as one of the greatest in the sport's history. Born on August 29, 1905, in Allahabad, he played a crucial role in India's dominance in field hockey during the 1920s and 1930s. He was known for his exceptional skills, particularly his ability to control the ball and score goals.
Chand led the Indian national team to three consecutive Olympic gold medals in 1928, 1932, and 1936. His remarkable performances earned him the nickname "The Wizard" due to his magical dribbling and scoring abilities.
