Dental Bridge
A dental bridge is a dental restoration used to replace one or more missing teeth. It consists of two or more crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap, known as abutment teeth, and a false tooth or teeth in between, called pontics. Bridges can be made from various materials, including porcelain, gold, or a combination of materials, and are designed to blend in with natural teeth.
The procedure for getting a dental bridge typically involves multiple visits to a dentist. During the first visit, the abutment teeth are prepared, and impressions are taken to create a custom bridge. Once the bridge is ready, it is securely placed over the abutment teeth, restoring function and aesthetics to the smile.
