Dejan Savićević
Dejan Savićević is a retired Montenegrin footballer, widely regarded as one of the best players from the former Yugoslavia. Born on January 15, 1966, in Podgorica, he played as an attacking midfielder and was known for his exceptional dribbling skills and vision on the field. Savićević had a successful club career, notably with Red Star Belgrade and AC Milan, where he won numerous domestic and international titles.
Savićević also represented the Yugoslav national team and later the Montenegro national team after the country's independence. He was part of the Yugoslav squad that reached the quarter-finals of the 1990 FIFA World Cup. After retiring from professional football, Savićević transitioned into coaching and administration, contributing to the development of the sport in Montenegro.
