Danyang–Kunshan Grand Bridge
The Danyang–Kunshan Grand Bridge is a remarkable viaduct located in China, stretching approximately 164.8 kilometers (102.4 miles). It is part of the Beijing–Shanghai High-Speed Railway and holds the title of the longest bridge in the world. The bridge primarily traverses rice paddies, rivers, and lakes, showcasing impressive engineering.
Completed in 2010 and opened in 2011, the bridge was designed to withstand natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods.
