Dagmar of Denmark
Dagmar of Denmark, also known as Margaret I of Denmark, was born around 1186. She was the daughter of King Valdemar II of Denmark and became a significant historical figure through her marriage to King Valdemar II of Bohemia. Dagmar was known for her beauty and grace, earning her the nickname "the fair." After her husband's death, she became a revered figure in both Denmark and Bohemia. She was later canonized as Saint Dagmar, reflecting her lasting legacy and influence in the region.
