Dadaab
Dadaab is a complex of refugee camps located in northeastern Kenya, near the border with Somalia. Established in 1991, it was initially created to accommodate those fleeing the civil war in Somalia. Over the years, it has grown to become one of the largest refugee camps in the world, housing hundreds of thousands of people.
The camps in Dadaab include Hagadera, Ifo, and Dagahaley. They provide essential services such as food, water, and healthcare to the refugees. Despite the challenges, Dadaab remains a critical refuge for many who have escaped conflict and instability in their home countries.
