DDR RAM
DDR RAM, or Double Data Rate Random Access Memory, is a type of computer memory that allows for faster data transfer compared to its predecessor, SDRAM. It achieves this by transferring data on both the rising and falling edges of the clock signal, effectively doubling the data rate without increasing the clock speed.
There are several generations of DDR RAM, including DDR2, DDR3, DDR4, and the latest, DDR5. Each generation offers improvements in speed, efficiency, and capacity, making them suitable for various applications, from personal computers to high-performance servers.
