DC circuit
A DC circuit, or direct current circuit, is an electrical circuit where the flow of electric charge is unidirectional, meaning it moves in a single direction. This type of circuit typically uses a constant voltage source, such as a battery, to provide power. The components in a DC circuit can include resistors, capacitors, and inductors, which work together to control the flow of electricity.
In a DC circuit, the voltage remains steady over time, unlike in an alternating current (AC) circuit where the voltage changes direction periodically. Common applications of DC circuits include powering electronic devices, such as smartphones and LED lights, as well as in solar panels that convert sunlight into electrical energy.
