Džamija
Džamija, or mosque, is a place of worship for followers of Islam. It serves as a community center where Muslims gather for prayers, especially on Fridays for the weekly congregational prayer known as Jumu'ah. Džamijas often feature a prayer hall, a minaret for the call to prayer, and sometimes a courtyard.
In addition to religious services, džamijas may host educational programs, social events, and charitable activities. They play a vital role in promoting Islamic teachings and fostering a sense of community among believers. The architecture of džamijas can vary widely, reflecting local cultures and traditions.
