Czech Koruna
The Czech Koruna is the official currency of the Czech Republic. It is abbreviated as CZK and is symbolized by "Kč." The currency was introduced in 1993, following the split of Czechoslovakia into two independent countries. The Koruna is subdivided into 100 haléřů, although haléř coins are no longer in circulation.
The Czech National Bank is responsible for issuing and regulating the Koruna. The currency is known for its stability and is used in everyday transactions throughout the country. The exchange rate of the Koruna can fluctuate against other currencies, such as the Euro and the US Dollar.
