Cyrus Teed
Cyrus Teed (1839-1908) was an American physician and the founder of a religious movement known as Koreshan Unity. He proposed a unique cosmological theory called Cellular Cosmogony, which suggested that the Earth is hollow and that humans live on the inside surface. Teed believed that this understanding would lead to a new spiritual awakening.
In 1894, Teed established a community in Estero, Florida, where followers lived according to his teachings. The community focused on communal living, alternative medicine, and the promotion of Teed's ideas. After his death, the movement declined, but remnants of his teachings and community efforts persisted for some time.
