Cyrano
"Cyrano" is a play written by Edmond Rostand in 1897. It tells the story of Cyrano de Bergerac, a talented poet and swordsman with a large nose, who is in love with his beautiful cousin, Roxane. However, he believes his appearance makes him unworthy of her love.
To win her heart, Cyrano helps Christian, a handsome but inarticulate man, by writing love letters on his behalf. The play explores themes of love, honor, and self-acceptance, ultimately highlighting the conflict between inner beauty and outward appearance.
