Cunigunde of Luxembourg was a medieval noblewoman born around 975. She was the daughter of Henry I, Count of Luxembourg and Adelaide of Metz. Cunigunde married Henry II of Bavaria, and together they had several children, including Henry III, Holy Roman Emperor.
Cunigunde is often remembered for her piety and charitable works. After her husband's death, she became a nun and dedicated her life to religious service. She was canonized as a saint by Pope Benedict VIII in 1200, and her feast day is celebrated on March 3.
