Cullen Lighthouse
Cullen Lighthouse is located on the coast of Cullen, a village in Moray, Scotland. Built in 1820, it was designed by the renowned engineer Robert Stevenson, who was part of a famous family of lighthouse builders. The lighthouse stands at a height of 20 meters and features a distinctive white tower, making it a notable landmark along the Moray Firth.
The lighthouse was automated in 1989, which means it no longer requires a keeper to operate. It continues to serve as an important navigational aid for ships traveling along the coast, ensuring safe passage through the waters of the North Sea.
