Cryptomeria
Cryptomeria is a genus of coniferous trees native to Japan, commonly known as Japanese cedar. These trees can grow up to 50 meters tall and are characterized by their tall, straight trunks and soft, needle-like leaves. The bark is reddish-brown and peels off in strips, giving the tree a distinctive appearance.
Cryptomeria is valued for its timber, which is resistant to decay and often used in construction and furniture making. Additionally, it is popular in landscaping and as an ornamental tree in gardens due to its attractive foliage and shape.
