Cromarty Lighthouse
Cromarty Lighthouse is located on the northeastern coast of Scotland, near the entrance to the Cromarty Firth. Built in 1846, it was designed by the engineer Robert Stevenson, a prominent figure in lighthouse construction. The lighthouse stands at a height of 15 meters and features a distinctive white tower with a black lantern.
The primary purpose of Cromarty Lighthouse is to guide ships safely through the waters of the North Sea. It is an important navigational aid for maritime traffic in the region. The lighthouse is still operational today and is maintained by Northern Lighthouse Board.
