Cricket Batting
Cricket batting is the act of a player using a cricket bat to hit the ball bowled by the opposing team's bowler. The primary goal is to score runs by hitting the ball and running between two sets of wickets. Batters can also score runs by hitting the ball to the boundary, which results in four runs if the ball touches the ground before crossing the boundary, or six runs if it crosses the boundary in the air.
Batters must adopt various techniques and strategies to defend their wicket and score runs effectively. They need to be aware of the fielders positioned around the pitch and adjust their shots accordingly. Good footwork, timing, and hand-eye coordination are essential skills for successful batting in cricket.
