Cricket is a popular bat-and-ball game played between two teams, each consisting of eleven players. The game is played on a circular or oval-shaped field, with a rectangular pitch at the center. One team bats, attempting to score runs, while the other bowls and fields, trying to dismiss the batsmen and limit runs.
The game has three main formats: Test cricket, which lasts up to five days; One Day Internationals (ODIs), which are limited to 50 overs per side; and Twenty20 (T20), where each team plays 20 overs. The team with the most runs at the end wins the match.
