Creek Nation
The Creek Nation, also known as the Muscogee (Creek) Nation, is a Native American tribe originally from the southeastern United States. They primarily inhabited areas in present-day Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. The Creek people are known for their rich cultural heritage, including traditional crafts, music, and dance.
In the early 19th century, the Creek Nation faced forced removal from their ancestral lands due to U.S. expansion. This led to the infamous Trail of Tears, where many Creek people were relocated to present-day Oklahoma. Today, the Creek Nation is a federally recognized tribe with its own government and various programs to support its members.
