Cree people
The Cree people are one of the largest Indigenous groups in North America, primarily located in Canada. They traditionally inhabit regions from the eastern part of the country to the western provinces, including areas in the boreal forest and plains. The Cree have a rich cultural heritage, with distinct languages, traditions, and social structures.
Historically, the Cree were known for their hunting and trapping skills, relying on animals such as deer and beaver for sustenance. Today, many Cree communities engage in various economic activities, including forestry and tourism, while also working to preserve their languages and cultural practices, such as traditional storytelling and crafts.
