Craters Kepler
Craters Kepler is a prominent impact crater located on the surface of the Moon. It is named after the famous astronomer Johannes Kepler and is approximately 32 kilometers (20 miles) in diameter. The crater is known for its well-preserved structure, featuring a distinct central peak and steep walls, which are characteristic of younger craters.
The surrounding area of Craters Kepler displays a ray system, consisting of bright streaks of material ejected during the impact that formed the crater. This ray system extends for hundreds of kilometers, making it one of the most recognizable features on the Moon's surface.
