Cornelius Agrippa
Cornelius Agrippa was a German polymath, born in 1486, known for his contributions to various fields, including magic, philosophy, and theology. He is best recognized for his work "De Occulta Philosophia," which explores the principles of magic and the occult. Agrippa's writings reflect the Renaissance interest in the mystical and the relationship between the natural and supernatural worlds.
In addition to his magical studies, Agrippa was also a soldier and a lawyer. He held various positions in the courts of Charles V and other European leaders. His ideas influenced later thinkers and contributed to the development of Western esotericism and Renaissance humanism.
