Copa Sudamericana
The Copa Sudamericana is an annual club football tournament organized by the South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL). It features teams from various countries in South America, competing for the title since its inception in 2002. The tournament is considered the second most prestigious club competition in the region, after the Copa Libertadores.
Teams qualify for the Copa Sudamericana based on their performance in their domestic leagues. The format includes a knockout stage, culminating in a final match to determine the champion. The winner earns a spot in the following year's Copa Libertadores and the Recopa Sudamericana.
