Convoys
A convoy is a group of vehicles or ships traveling together for mutual support and protection. This arrangement is often used in military operations, where troops and supplies move in a coordinated manner to reduce the risk of attacks. Convoys can also be seen in civilian contexts, such as during long road trips or when transporting valuable goods.
In maritime contexts, convoys were historically used to safeguard merchant ships from pirates and enemy vessels. By traveling in groups, ships could defend each other more effectively. The concept of convoys remains relevant today in various fields, including logistics and humanitarian aid, where safety and efficiency are priorities.
