Constitutional Court of Albania
The Constitutional Court of Albania is the highest authority for interpreting the Constitution of Albania. Established in 1991, it ensures that laws and government actions comply with the Constitution, protecting citizens' rights and freedoms.
The court consists of nine judges, appointed for a nine-year term by the President of Albania, the Parliament, and the Supreme Court. It plays a crucial role in maintaining the rule of law and resolving disputes related to constitutional matters, thereby contributing to the stability of the Albanian legal system.
