Connie Mack
Connie Mack was a prominent American baseball manager and team owner, best known for his long tenure with the Philadelphia Athletics. Born on December 22, 1862, he managed the team from 1901 to 1950, making him one of the longest-serving managers in Major League Baseball history. Under his leadership, the Athletics won five World Series championships.
Mack was also a skilled catcher during his playing days before transitioning to management. He was known for his innovative strategies and ability to develop young talent. His contributions to the game earned him a place in the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1937.
