The Connecticut Tigers were a minor league baseball team based in Norwich, Connecticut. They were a Class A Short Season affiliate of the Detroit Tigers and played in the New York-Penn League. The team was established in 2010 and played its home games at Dodd Stadium. In 2017, the Connecticut Tigers ceased operations as part of a larger reorganization of minor league baseball. During their time, the team provided local fans with an opportunity to enjoy affordable family entertainment and watch future major league players develop their skills.
