Congenital Torticollis
Congenital Torticollis is a condition present at birth where a baby’s neck muscles are tight, causing the head to tilt to one side. This can happen due to various reasons, including positioning in the womb or muscle injury during delivery. It may lead to an uneven appearance of the head and neck.
Treatment often involves physical therapy to stretch the neck muscles and improve range of motion. In some cases, a soft collar may be used to support the neck. Most children respond well to treatment, and with early intervention, they can achieve normal head and neck positioning.
