Computer Vision Syndrome
Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS) refers to a group of eye and vision-related problems that result from prolonged use of digital screens, such as computers, tablets, and smartphones. Symptoms may include eye strain, dryness, blurred vision, and headaches. These issues arise due to factors like screen glare, poor lighting, and improper viewing distances.
To alleviate CVS, individuals are encouraged to follow the 20-20-20 rule, which suggests taking a 20-second break to look at something 20 feet away every 20 minutes. Additionally, maintaining proper posture, using anti-glare screens, and ensuring adequate lighting can help reduce discomfort and improve overall eye health.
