Common Guillemot
The Common Guillemot is a seabird found primarily in the northern regions of the Atlantic Ocean. It is known for its distinctive black and white plumage, with a slender body and long wings. These birds are excellent divers, capable of reaching depths of up to 200 meters while hunting for fish and other marine life.
During the breeding season, Common Guillemots nest on steep cliffs, laying a single egg on bare rock. They are social birds, often seen in large colonies. Their diet mainly consists of small fish, which they catch while diving underwater.
