Common Grace
Common Grace refers to the concept in Christian theology that describes God's unmerited favor extended to all humanity, regardless of their faith. This grace allows people to experience goodness, beauty, and moral order in the world, even if they do not have a personal relationship with God. It is believed to restrain sin and promote societal order, enabling individuals to live in a relatively stable and just environment.
This idea contrasts with Saving Grace, which is specific to those who accept Jesus Christ and receive forgiveness for their sins. Common Grace is evident in the natural world, human relationships, and the moral conscience, highlighting God's love and mercy towards everyone.
