Colorado State Senate
The Colorado State Senate is the upper chamber of the Colorado General Assembly, which is the state's legislative body. It consists of 35 members who are elected to serve four-year terms. Senators represent specific districts across Colorado and are responsible for creating, amending, and voting on state laws.
The Senate works alongside the Colorado House of Representatives, which is the lower chamber of the General Assembly. Together, they address various issues, including education, healthcare, and public safety. The Senate also plays a key role in approving the state budget and confirming appointments made by the Governor of Colorado.
