Cole Younger
Cole Younger was an American outlaw and a member of the infamous James-Younger Gang, which was active in the late 19th century. Born on January 15, 1844, in Missouri, he became known for his involvement in bank and train robberies across the Midwest. The gang was notorious for their daring heists and often clashed with law enforcement.
After the Civil War, Younger turned to a life of crime, influenced by the turbulent times. He was captured in 1876 and sentenced to life in prison. After serving 25 years, he was released and later became a public speaker, sharing his experiences and advocating against crime.
