Frank James was a notable figure in the American Old West, best known as the brother of the infamous outlaw Jesse James. Born in 1843 in Missouri, he became a member of the James-Younger Gang, which was involved in numerous bank and train robberies during the late 19th century. After the death of his brother, Frank's life took a different turn as he sought to distance himself from his criminal past. Despite his notorious reputation, Frank James eventually surrendered to authorities and was tried for his crimes. He later became a public figure, giving lectures about his life and the Wild West, and he lived out his later years in relative obscurity, passing away in 1915.
