Cochimí community
The Cochimí community is an indigenous group located in the Baja California region of Mexico. Historically, they inhabited the coastal areas and inland regions, relying on fishing, hunting, and gathering for their sustenance. Their culture is rich in traditions, language, and social structures, which have been influenced by their environment and interactions with neighboring tribes.
Today, the Cochimí people face challenges related to cultural preservation and land rights. Efforts are being made to revitalize their language and traditions, as well as to promote awareness of their history and contributions to the region. The community continues to strive for recognition and support in maintaining their cultural identity.
