Coast Guard Reserve
The Coast Guard Reserve is a branch of the United States Coast Guard that consists of part-time service members. These individuals support the Coast Guard's missions, which include search and rescue, environmental protection, and maritime law enforcement. Reservists can be called to active duty during emergencies or national crises.
Members of the Coast Guard Reserve undergo training to maintain their skills and readiness. They typically serve one weekend a month and two weeks a year, allowing them to balance civilian careers while contributing to the safety and security of the nation's waterways and coastal areas.
