Cleve Jones
Cleve Jones is an American LGBTQ+ rights activist, best known for his work in the fight against HIV/AIDS. He gained prominence in the 1980s as a close associate of Harvey Milk, the first openly gay elected official in California. Jones is the founder of the NAMES Project, which created the AIDS Memorial Quilt to honor those who died from the disease.
