Clement Vallandigham
Clement Vallandigham was a prominent American politician and lawyer during the 19th century, known for his opposition to the American Civil War. He was a member of the Democratic Party and served as a U.S. Congressman from Ohio. Vallandigham was a vocal critic of President Abraham Lincoln's policies and advocated for peace negotiations with the Confederacy.
