Clean Agent
A "Clean Agent" is a type of fire suppression system that uses non-toxic gases or chemicals to extinguish fires without leaving residue. These agents are designed to protect sensitive equipment and valuable assets, making them ideal for use in places like data centers, museums, and libraries.
Unlike traditional water-based systems, clean agents do not damage electronics or important documents. Common clean agents include FM-200, Novec 1230, and Inergen. These agents work by reducing the oxygen level or interrupting the chemical reaction of the fire, effectively putting it out while ensuring minimal impact on the environment and surroundings.
