Clay Millennium Prize
The Clay Millennium Prize is a set of seven mathematical problems that were announced by the Clay Mathematics Institute in 2000. Each problem carries a reward of one million dollars for a correct solution. These problems are considered some of the most challenging in mathematics and include famous questions like the P vs NP problem and the Riemann Hypothesis.
The prize aims to promote mathematical research and highlight the importance of these unsolved problems. Since its inception, only one problem, the Poincaré Conjecture, has been solved, with Grigori Perelman being awarded the prize in 2010, which he famously declined.
