Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya
The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is a renowned motorsport racetrack located in Montmelo, near Barcelona, Spain. Opened in 1991, it has hosted numerous prestigious events, including the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix and the MotoGP Catalan Grand Prix. The circuit features a 4.655 km (2.892 miles) layout with 16 turns, providing a mix of high-speed straights and challenging corners.
In addition to its main racing events, the circuit is also used for testing and private events. It has a seating capacity of around 140,000 spectators, making it one of the largest venues in Europe for motorsport enthusiasts.
