Cindy Birdsong
Cindy Birdsong is an American singer best known as a member of the iconic girl group, The Supremes. She joined the group in 1967, replacing Florence Ballard, and contributed to their continued success during the late 1960s and early 1970s. Birdsong's powerful vocals helped the group produce several hit songs, including "Love Child" and "Someday We'll Be Together."
Before joining The Supremes, Birdsong was a member of another girl group, The Delicates. She was born on December 15, 1939, in Trenton, New Jersey. Throughout her career, Birdsong has been recognized for her contributions to music and remains a celebrated figure in the history of Motown.
