Florence Ballard was an American singer best known as a founding member of the iconic girl group, the Supremes. Born on June 30, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan, she played a significant role in the group's early success during the 1960s, contributing to hits like "Where Did Our Love Go" and "Baby Love."
Despite her talent, Ballard faced personal and professional challenges, leading to her departure from the Supremes in 1967. She struggled with financial difficulties and health issues in her later years, passing away on February 22, 1976, at the age of 32.
